Chemical Equilibria |

| The Chemical
equilibrium module for Multiflash is capable of solving chemical and phase
equilibria simultaneously. It does not distinguish between reactants or products, but finds a true chemical equilibrium among all the chemicals present; a reaction scheme does not have to be defined. Chemical equilibria, and associated heat changes, can be calculated for either a liquid phase, a gas phase or both, plus a number of solid phases. The module calculates simultaneous chemical and phase equilibrium at fixed pressure and temperature or searches for the dew point or bubble point of a reacting mixture at fixed temperature or pressure.
